This Privacy Policy describes how information is handled in connection with the public VelvetShe website operated at https://velvetshe.com.
Scope
This policy applies to the public marketing and company website for VelvetShe. It does not describe the full privacy practices of the VelvetShe mobile application, which is currently under development and may publish a separate member-facing privacy notice when the application is available.
VelvetShe is operated by VelvetShe LLC (“VelvetShe,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).
Information Visitors Voluntarily Provide
This website does not create a VelvetShe app account. Founding 100 registration, described below, stores an email interest list. It does not sign you into the app. If you choose to email us at support@velvetshe.com, we receive the information you include in that message, such as your email address, name (if provided), and the content of your inquiry.
Technical Information
When you visit this website, standard technical information may be processed by our hosting or content delivery providers as part of ordinary web operation. This can include items such as IP address, browser type, device type, referring URL, requested pages, and timestamps. This information is used to deliver the website, maintain security, and diagnose technical issues.
Founding 100 Registration
If you register for the Founding 100, we store the email address you enter, an optional preferred first name, whether you accepted the program terms, whether you opted into separate marketing messages, and the time of the request. We also store a hashed verification token, your verification result, and, if a place is assigned, your position or waitlist status. We do not store your verification link itself.
We use this information to prevent duplicate registrations, limit the program to 100 verified places, operate the waitlist, and later match a verified email to an app account only through a separate authorized step. Registration does not activate Premium, a discount, or a badge inside the app.
A hashed network address may be stored briefly to limit abusive repeat requests. We do not sell this information and we do not send it to an advertising network. Conversion is counted from these registration records, not from a third-party tracker.
Cookies and Analytics
This version of the VelvetShe website does not intentionally set first-party analytics cookies or advertising trackers. If our hosting provider records basic server or access logs for reliability and security, those logs are processed only as needed to operate the website.
If analytics, cookies, or similar technologies are added in the future, this Privacy Policy will be updated to describe that use.

This website is intended for a general adult audience and is not directed to children under 13, and the VelvetShe app is only for adults 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through this website. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us through this website, contact us and we will take appropriate steps.
